Kleptoparasitic Cuckoo-bees – parasitic on pollenivores – nest parasites that lay eggs in nests of solitary bees. When their egg hatches and devours either the host egg or young larva, then consumes the pollen and nectar provisions and emerges as an adult kleptoparasitic bee. See end of separate section on bee guilds.
